Masquerade has a long history, masquerade balls were a traadition in Venice, Italy and this was one of the only times where equality among the people and classes was seen on a mass scale. At Bearsprings we always do our best to ensure that our children are all equaly valued and cared for and find the concept of masquerade to be a fun way to teach children about times and places where equality was hard to find and encourage everyone to join us in a costume day!
Maybe you could become a bear or a bee for the day and teach others about what you eat or why you will be getting ready to sleep for the winter?
